SCARS ON BROADWAY To Perform On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
September 17, 2008SCARS ON BROADWAY, the collaboration between SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan, will make its network television debut on Tuesday, October 14 with an appearance on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" While two songs will be broadcast on air, the band will perform a free, five-song mini-concert on Kimmel's outdoor stage located right in the heart of Hollywood, California, SCARS ON BROADWAY's home base. "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs at 12:05 a.m. ET and PT/11:05 p.m. CT.
For the broadcast, SCARS ON BROADWAY — Malakian, Dolmayan, guitarist Franky Perez, keyboardist Danny Shamoun and bassist Dominic Cifarelli — will perform "World Long Gone" from their self-titled debut that was released July 29 (Interscope),and for the show's closing, "They Say".
The TV appearance will precede SCARS ON BROADWAY's first-ever North American headline tour which will kick off October 19 in Atlanta, GA, and conclude in Houston on November 26.
